What we use cookies for
Cookies (and similar storage) help Giga Rental System stay signed in, remember language, currency, and timezone, and understand how the marketing site is used. This page explains the categories we use on gigarentalsystem.com and in the product.
Essential cookies
These are required for the site and product to work. They keep sessions alive (httpOnly auth cookies), protect forms, and route you to the right tenant. You cannot turn these off in-product without breaking sign-in, checkout, or the admin apps.
Preference cookies
We remember the language, currency, and timezone you pick on the marketing site so pages do not reset on every visit. These are still functional — they do not track you across other companies’ websites.
Analytics
If analytics scripts are enabled by the platform, they help us see which marketing pages are useful and which are confusing. We use this to improve GRS, not to sell a profile of you. You can also block analytics in your browser.
What we do not do
We do not use advertising cookies to follow you around the internet, and we do not sell cookie data. Third-party payment providers (Stripe, PayPal) may set their own cookies when you complete a checkout — those are governed by their policies.
How to control cookies
Most browsers let you delete or block cookies in settings. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and may prevent booking or admin access. You can also use private browsing if you want a session that disappears when you close the window.
Updates
We may update this policy when we add a new cookie category. The “Updated” date on this page will change when we do.
